Good Plans

Jeremiah 29:11

“For I know the plans I have for you, to give you a hope and a future”

Here are some fringe benefits of trusting in God: “hope for the future, God working all things together for your good even in tough sometimes devastating circumstances, a secure future, good plans.”

As children of God, we aren't walking around hoping that some day things will be better. That “one day” syndrome is not our portion.

We are assured of a hopeful and secure future. How do we know that? Because the one who has promised is faithful. We don't have to worry because God is in full control of all things even for those things that we aren’t aware of.

If God was just to open up our eyes to see how many situations He has kept us from, we would be beyond amazed.

Beloved, God has good plans for you. If He didn’t He wouldn’t have recorded it for you and me in Scripture, and because it's in Scripture we can claim this promise in confidence knowing that God is able to do far much more than we could ever ask or think.

Planning committee

You could be in a situation that for all practical reasons is irredeemable but the God who created all things isn't limited to the laws and forces of nature.

He is above nature and He can reverse any wrong situation. Sometimes He doesn’t but does that mean He is unfaithful? By all means no.

You see, God’s wisdom can't be fathomed and by virtue of the fact that some situations appear to be unfair, it means that God’s providence is such a mystery our minds can’t grasp what He's doing behind the scenes.

Simply Trust

All we need to do is simply to trust in Him. In one book I read it said that ‘for those things we know we obey, for those that we don’t we trust’ and it's no different when it comes to God, for the things He has chosen to reveal to you, obey them for those that He has kept hidden from you, trust in Him.

It's hard to believe dare I even say to accept God’s will in some circumstances for which we had desperately hoped in God for but then didn’t turn out as expected.

But God tells us in His word to believe and accept His will for us because it's good and perfect. By that I mean, we have no worry of tomorrow because we know the one in charge of tomorrow, that’s why we can rest.

It doesn’t matter the situation, God’s good plans for your life overrides all the things you term as “bad” in your life. God loves you so much that's why He has amazing plans for your life.

God Won't Fail You

You can face your future with confidence knowing that in spite of what happens you will always emerge the victor because God is for you.

God’s plans are to prosper you not only materially but in life as a whole, to give you hope that even when it looks bleak you’re still brimming with hope, when everyone is crying foul you’re singing and dancing in the rain.

In Jesus’ words “For nothing is impossible with God” My dear friend have you tried God? Have you given Him a chance? I dare you to, and I know you won't be disappointed because God isn't a man to lie.

How do I know that God is faithful and can't fail? In all my life the sun has never failed to rise nor to set. It has never been a second late and to me that's enough evidence of God’s faithfulness and reliability.

That's why I can tell you to try God and see if He will not come through for you. It may not be in the way you expected but He definitely will come through for you.
